Led by Managing Director Casey Sayers of the Yuin Nation, NU Projects has built a strong reputation for delivering high quality projects across government and commercial sectors, including the Department of Defence, Department of Education, Aboriginal Hostels Limited, KPMG, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia and the National Museum of Australia.
This partnership brings together two organisations operating across environments where trust, precision and accountability are critical.
As construction, infrastructure and project delivery become increasingly reliant on digital systems, data and connected technology, the nature of risk is changing. Construction businesses are no longer only managing physical environments. They are managing digital ones as well.
Sensitive project information, procurement systems and subcontractor networks are becoming more exposed, and with that exposure comes responsibility.
This is where MOKAI sits.
Our role is to support and protect the digital environments that sit behind these projects, ensuring that as industries evolve, the systems they rely on remain secure, resilient and trusted.
Because security is no longer an add-on. It is part of the foundation.
Through this partnership, MOKAI will work alongside NU Projects to strengthen cybersecurity awareness and digital risk management practices across the business, supporting the protection of critical project data, systems and networks as construction environments continue to advance.
At the same time, NU Projects brings extensive experience delivering complex infrastructure and construction projects across government, education, housing and commercial sectors. Their commitment to Indigenous participation, local employment and community outcomes reflects a long-term approach to impact, not just delivery.
Casey Sayers brings more than a decade of experience delivering projects from concept through to completion, leading procurement, compliance and delivery across high-profile environments. Her leadership reflects a focus not only on construction excellence, but on creating pathways and opportunities for Indigenous communities.
For MOKAI, this partnership represents more than collaboration.
It reflects a broader responsibility to support Indigenous-led organisations operating in high-impact industries, while ensuring they are equipped to navigate the growing complexity of digital environments.
Together, MOKAI and NU Projects are working across both the built and digital environments, stengthening how projects are delivered, protected and sustained into the future.
